Been thinking a lot about the whole immigration issue lately. Here are some of my observations.
- The immigration and naturalization process in the U.S. needs an overhaul. If there were a process for coming to the U.S. legally that took about a year, would it be such a problem?
- Cries that reek of entitlement and rights without responsibility will not help.
- Where is the Mexican government and why aren’t they helping?
- I’m not siding with those that are calling for the mass deportation of all illegal immigrants in this country. I’m also not keen on wholesale amnesty for illegal immigrants. However, the sheer scale of the predicament requires a solution that falls between the two extremes.
