Sorry, I don’t buy it.

  • Sorry, but I don’t buy most of what I hear and see from ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CNN.  Sensationalism and faces in front of the TV set are the name of the game.  Like they say, “if it bleeds, it leads.”
  • Sorry, but I don’t buy anything that comes out of Barack Obama’s mouth.  There’s going to be some serious disappointment for those that think he can affect any lasting change in this country.  He’s popular because he’s not Bush.
  • Sorry, but I don’t buy most advertising anymore.  Advertisers count on people being dumb enough to not read the fine print.  And yes, political ads are included.
  • Sorry, but I don’t buy it that social welfare is the answer to our country’s problems.   Just like cold hard cash won’t really help a homeless person.
  • Sorry, but I don’t buy it that the Chiefs will be successful under Carl Peterson.  He’s too big of a jerk and everyone’s sick of him.
  • Sorry, but I don’t buy anything that celebrities say.  They’re actors.  They act.  For a living.  How can anyone take them serious?
