Nice.

The Mainstream Media is so dang liberally biased, it’s ridiculous. It just boggles my mind.
The biased, crap reporting:
CNN’s own Bill Bennett and his masterful rebuttal:
Kudos to Radio Vice for the scoop. Here’s the original post.
Tags: liberalRead this article on my Yahoo homepage about a so-called “expert” report about the sour reputation of the US abroad.
My first thought was: where do people in Europe, the Middle East and elsewhere get this kind of information? The answer: The stupid Mainstream Media in our own country.
Question I have: what kind of reputation would we have abroad if the Mainstream Media wasn’t liberally biased?
That’s certainly not going to get any press.

How egotistical do you have to be for suing your employer for supposedly putting you in a position that makes you seem less credible?
Like “Mr. Big-Wig” Dan Rather had so little control over the story and the following apology.
What a money grab.
Oh and here’s one of the fabricated documents.

Not only did Saddam have WMDs, he used them on the Kurds.
What about Georges Sada and the claims in his book? He was in Saddam’s inner circle. He says they’re in Syria.
Saddam played everyone and funded it through the Oil-For-Food debacle.

This is going to be really bad. She’s terrible on the evening news and she’s going to be terrible in the Middle East.
Who’s not going to see this as a really dumb publicity stunt?
I felt it would be really important for the American people to get a big picture of what is going on, in terms of northern Iraq, in terms of Sadr City (and) the Anbar province. People hear all these things and I think it’s really hard—as some people get Iraq fatigue—to keep a healthy and understandable perspective of what is going on. My goal is to provide that.
Yeah, the “Big Picture.” Riiight.
If you want the “big picture” check out Michael Yon’s blog.

I’ve been reading Michael Yon’s blog quite a bit lately. It’s a lot to read, but it’s very interesting, IMO.
This particular post, titled “Second Chances,” recounts the Al Qaeda massacre in Baqubah. He mentions stringers for the news agencies and how they gather verifiable information about events in the field.
You’ll have to read it for yourself.

I’d venture to say that most politicians and news media outlets are enough out of touch with common folk that it could happen.
The liberal news media would go nuts.
Tags: liberalInteresting article by Michael Medved, who contends that watching too much TV causes you to have a more liberal political slant.
Here’s are some of his points that resonated with me:
- Excessive TV watching gives us no time for meaningful relationships in the community
- TV is sensational by nature and not often based in reality — normal doesn’t sell
- TV “demands immediate activism in order to make us feel better”
- Lots of TV watching is lots of time wasted.
If case you didn’t hear the comments of Democratic Gov. Kathleen Sebelius after the EF-5 tornado that hit Greensburg, KS on May 5th, here’s an article about it.
Here’s some details on the the White House response.
Guess the Greensburg resident’s have been overwhelmed, by the government’s response to the damage. And that’s not all, either.

Apparently when you’re a stay-home, “opt-out” mom, you “do not use your full talents and abilities.”
Find me a grown child who would’ve preferred their mother work instead of stay home.
Stay-home moms are underrated.

I chock this up to mainstream media bias more than anything. IMO, people are fed-up with it and are seeking out news sources that are more like their views. That’s the way it is with me. The evening news makes my stomach turn. I’d rather get my news from my favorite RSS feeds with Google Reader than to listen to some biased windbag.

And here.
Here’s more details.
Makes me sick.
Props to NewsBusters for their work.

Throw out Couric’s nonsense about feminism. Really. We should have a better representation of women in government — like Rwanda?? Don’t we have elected officials??
That make a whole lot of sense. What a lame-butt statement.

…it surveyed 1,849 Iraqi families in 47 different neighborhoods across Iraq…
I like what one of the commenters said:
The sheer fact that none in the media actually gave this number a real challenge, and many reported it as if it were the gospel truth just goes to show how much they really want it to be real.No tags for this post.

I agree that whatever you want to call it, mainstream media, presents itself as unbiased, when in fact, there are built into it many biases, and they are overwhelmingly to the left.
Wow.

It’s hard not to get discouraged about the direction that America is taking. I don’t think president Bush is the problem.

Liberal bias makes me Sicko
Have you heard about Google blogger, Lauren Turner, who wrote this article and was forced by Google to “clarify” it?
I thought she made some valid points — points that seem to guide readers toward Google’s products.
What if Sicko (sorry, it doesn’t deserve a link) really is a distorted piece of propaganda by some do-as-i-say-not-as-i-do fat blob?
What’s the point of having corporate bloggers if you’re going wuss out under a little pressure?
