Friday Fifteen – Random Crap
- Very excited to be attending the WordCamp KC conference in June.
- Anxiously waiting for the Froyo update for my Motorola Defy to emerge from testing.
- I’m not sure why, but I think I need one of these sporks.
- Love this article on Smashing Magazine about choosing typefaces.
- I’ve really get a lot of encouragement from Ron Edmonson’s blog. Specifically the posts on leadership. I’m not really in an official leadership position, but it’s good to read about someone who is and seems to be doing it right.
- Bought my first Kindle book from Amazon — The Tangible Kingdom. I don’t own a Kindle. Been reading it in my phone. I like it. The book and the medium.
- Been doing some sheetrock work in my basement. Getting ready to start mudding. Fun. If anyone knows where I can find some staples for a Craftsman 9-68447 stapler, let me know. I’m annoyed that I can’t find them locally — not even at Sears.
- Sanford Uni-ball Vision Micro pens are my favorite.
- Branding with a typeface alone is fascinating.
- Love this picture that Stephen Altrogge posted this week.
- I like reading the FresHome blog. Motivates me to do projects at home.
- Shooting machetes with a slingshot. ’Nuff said.
- Who doesn’t need a drill-powered pencil sharpener?
- Need some mobile WordPress tools? Check this. I’m using the Smooci 2 theme and Mobile Smart switcher plugin.
- Gotta end with the dog fart compilation. (Not to be confused with this)

- Barcode Scanner – for scanning QR codes and other shopping.
- Angry Birds – I can now know why this game is so popular
- SwiftKey Keyboard ($3.99) – worth the $3.99, IMO.

- Google Reader – just released this week
- DroidLight – helpful when I’m getting around in the morning
- Google Sky Map
- Yahoo Fantasy Football
- Yahoo Fantasy Basketball
- Advanced Task Killer – essential if you want your battery charge to last longer than a day
- Dropbox – allows me to download anything from my Dropbox account to my phone
- Pocket Cloud Free – Remote desktop app
