- Congratulations America. Your New American Idol is Barack Obama.
- McCain had no chance. It just goes to show that when the liberal media is in the tank for the candidate, riding the self-fulfilling Bush-hating agenda, anything can be overlooked — including the non-experience, questionable and ultra-wacko-liberal background of Barack Obama. Didn’t matter, he was THE CHOSEN ONE. (Incidentally, I believe the the Bush-hating really started after Gore lost the Electoral Vote in 2000. The war in Iraq rhetoric was just a natural progression.)
- When will the honeymoon be over? How long will it take before Obama moves far enough to the center that he alienates the liberal base and the mainstream media? He’s a people pleaser and at some point the man will step in it and it will stink.
- Finally the end of the inane political commercials.
- I can complain because I voted.

Excellent Hot Air post here. Check it out.

- I thought Obama spewed lots of chic Bush-blame toward McCain and didn’t really speak with much vision.
- To his credit, Obama did his best to not sound ignorant. I thought he used phrases like “let me be clear” and his 1, 2, 3 points to figure out what to say.
- In the first part of the debate, I thought McCain showed a lot of restraint and didn’t bite on a lot of the more ridiculous accusations that Obama was tossing.
- As I twittered earlier, I thought McCain spoke with vision and conviction, while Obama whined about “8 years of failed ___ policies.” I want details.
- Barack’s “oh, I have a bracelet, too” response was really lame. At least remember the dude’s name. Sheesh.
- I wished that McCain would have defended his tax plan better. A lot of Obama’s accusations went unchallenged. I’ve read enough about the advantages McCain’s tax plan.
- I just don’t think Obama can handle being president of our country. Everyone knows that Bill Clinton is a darn good public speaker. People say the same thing about Obama. But you know what, Clinton is going to be remembered for lying and screwing around with Monica Lewinsky. It’s about the substance of the character not eloquent words dripping with honey.

Tags: bailout, obama, tweetsNot only is Obama is acting like he’s already president and, in essence, trotting the globe promising that the U.S. will give, what I feel is an unhealthy amount of “say” to foreign governments regarding U.S. foreign policy, but now he’s reneged on plans to visit to wounded troops in Germany
it would be inappropriate to make a stop to visit troops at a U.S. military facility as part of a trip funded by the campaign

Since I’m already an ad-hominem guerrilla, I thought I’d dish out some more on the Real Barack Obama.

Sorry, I don’t buy it.
- Sorry, but I don’t buy most of what I hear and see from ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CNN. Sensationalism and faces in front of the TV set are the name of the game. Like they say, “if it bleeds, it leads.”
- Sorry, but I don’t buy anything that comes out of Barack Obama’s mouth. There’s going to be some serious disappointment for those that think he can affect any lasting change in this country. He’s popular because he’s not Bush.
- Sorry, but I don’t buy most advertising anymore. Advertisers count on people being dumb enough to not read the fine print. And yes, political ads are included.
- Sorry, but I don’t buy it that social welfare is the answer to our country’s problems. Just like cold hard cash won’t really help a homeless person.
- Sorry, but I don’t buy it that the Chiefs will be successful under Carl Peterson. He’s too big of a jerk and everyone’s sick of him.
- Sorry, but I don’t buy anything that celebrities say. They’re actors. They act. For a living. How can anyone take them serious?
